Mi chiamo Regina Wynn, sono italiana di nascita e sono stata presidente nonche’ addetta al programma della Cheltenham Italian Society in passato.
Ho formato il groppo di conversazione chiamato I Chiacchieroni
· I Chiacchieroni e’ un gruppo di conversazione a livello intermedio ed avanzata di italiano, molto informale nato a maggio del 2025.
· Il gruppo si incontra ogni terzo lunedi’ del mese al pub Tivoli, al momento.
· La partecipazione e’ gratuita a parte una consumazione al bar che ci ospita.
· Si parla solo in italiano e si trattano argomenti vari che vanno dalle vacanze, alla politica, dalla cronaca alle ricette.
· Ogni mese un partecipiante al gruppo propone un argomento e lo presenta al gruppo con articoli, video, registrazioni o semplicemente con una presentazione orale.
· Come moderatrice del gruppo, ogni tanto io vi inserisco riflessioni grammaticali, lessicali o registrazioni ecc.
· Perche’ e’ importante che alla fine di ogni incontro tutti abbiano imparato qualcosa di nuovo, fosse anche una sola parola nuova.
· Al momento siamo in circa 10 partecipanti.

Elisabetta Angeli
I am Italian born and bred and have been living in the UK for more than 25 years.
I teach privately both one-to-one and varying size groups. I teach Italian to all levels and for all interests, including business. Being mother tongue, I can really tailor my lesson to your needs and pace.
I have a First Class Honours Degree in English and French and a PGCE in Italian and French. I have been teaching both to adults and school children for more than 15 years.
If you also like reading, I run a free ‘Circolo di Lettura’ every 5/6 weeks. We are a lively bunch of enthusiastic readers!

Stefania Tieri
Ciao! I'm an Italian qualified native teacher based in Cheltenham. I’m from Rimini, a beautiful seaside city on the Adriatic coast, in the region of Emilia Romagna.
I graduated in languages at the University of Urbino, and I have obtained my DITALS qualification (teacher of Italian as a foreign language) through the University of Siena. I'm a very enthusiastic and passionate tutor with several years of teaching experience.
Throughout my career I have taught different levels both through individual classes and group sessions. I teach private students, weekends courses at Oxford University as well as courses for Government institutions, Ministry of Defence.
Depending on the level of each student I tailor the lessons and the material to make sure that my students have a complete understanding of the language and knowledge of Italian culture.

Marisa Percival
Native Italian, with many years experience of teaching Italian at Gloscat and elsewhere, offers both private and small-group tuition. The classes are in my home in Cheltenham.

Vivian Parry
Vivian Parry has taught Italian at all levels for a number of years now. She has taught adults mainly on a one to one basis or in small groups of varying sizes. The tuition she offers is usually tailored to the student's requirements, and can cover business as well as holiday Italian. Students frequently come to her house (in Leckhampton) for 1 hr or 1½ hour sessions or Vivian goes to their house or place of work. Times are flexible and by arrangement.
Vivian also has considerable experience of teaching at business locations in the area.
The cost of lessons is usually agreed privately with the student.
